Dr. Ahmed Imtiaj is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He completed BSc and MSc degrees in Botany from the same university. In 2008, Dr. Imtiaj obtained PhD degree from the Culture Collection and DNA Bank of Mushrooms (CCDBM), University of Incheon, Korea. He published 01 book and 37 research papers including 12 SCI and 05 ISI in different prestigious publications. During last few years he received several research grants from different international and national organizations. Dr. Imtiaj is one the pioneer academicians of mushroom research in Bangladesh. He visited about 17 countries including Korea, Japan, USA and 47 universities such as Incheon University, Kyushu University, MIT, Harvard University, UPLB, Shanghai University, Bogor Agriculture University, etc.
